Thought this was a good presentation. However, I was waiting for the presenter to say that like JavaScript, the Dart runtime is single-threaded, event-loop based. One had better like async-only programming. This limits its applicability to certain types of “systems” programming. Its performance generally at runtime, falls between Ruby/Python and Go, but generally closer to the former than the latter.
