Window Maker is why I decided to start using Linux some 22-23 years ago. I was on Windows 98, and I loved looking at Linux/X11 screenshots with the WMs of the time: Enlightenment, FVWM, TWM, Window Maker, etc. Of all the crazy styles out there (Enlightenment had themes that seem to come out of steam punk), I loved the solid, blocky, almost brutalist look of Window Maker the most. (Also, I knew nothing about NeXT.) Eventually, I decided to do the switch and I’ve been a Linux user ever since. I no longer use Window Maker, but it has a very special place in my heart.
That’s fine, but it doesn’t look anything like Mac OS Mojave.
