    This a reasonable framing and there are a lot of people thinking similarly. There are opportunities for advantage for those willing to invest in better tools before it comes time to pick what they’ll use.

      Yeah, this is really more about what’s called “path dependence” where it’s more expensive to backtrack and start down an entirely new path once you’ve already progressed significantly down another.
