I’m a little sad that the new replacement classes need polyfills to do basic things like “compare two buffers”, and other basic things like “decode UTF-8” and “read an int32” require creating and discarding a new temporary object each time. I wish the web standards were less NIH, and more attentive to how the community’s own polyfills had evolved.
