Interesting point about Facebook articles. I’ve given up even trying to read numerous articles on my phone after having the screen covered in aggressive advertising. There’s the “use our app” dropdown at the top, then the overlay, then the bouncy turd at the bottom. And then I find I can’t even scroll the article because they cocked up something else. The Facebook app never seems to have these problems. Yeah, every tenth (?) post is actually an ad trying to get me to play Witcher, but they’re easily scrolled past and don’t appear unexpectedly. If more websites move to articles readable there, I’ll likely start preferring them over the web version.
Sadly Facebook’s mobile website seems to be becoming the norm these days.
Web pages don’t suck, people/companies writing web pages suck.
