    I’ll save that one for reading later on when I have more time and energy for deeper stuff. For now. I’ll say that the results of technologies, computer or otherwise, seems to depend on those who have capital and/or power. Computers have been anything but ethical in focus except maybe in hardcore FOSS proponents. Even FOSS got turned into a business asset that was morally neutral but might lean on the side of empowering capitalists in practice.

    I’m not sure that I can believe in computer and information ethics even at a conceptual level in the real world after studying decades of industry activity. I believe in the masses doing what’s fun/convenient/cheap and the companies doing what’s profitable. I believe those lead to negative consequences. That’s about all I’m sure on for long term. :(
