Replicant 6.0 is based on LineageOS 13.0 which is based on Android 6.0.
while I totally dig the idea of a fully Free distro of Android, it seems too great a cost to be stuck so far behind on patches. (even the somewhat obscure 3rd party distro I use has been on 7.1 for a while now)

Android 6.0 is still supported, and LineageOS also supports it.
