Quite a shame, since everyone else has started adopting WebM just now, like the indie game Contraption Maker (which exports gameplay video in WebM) or 4chan by using them as an alternative for gifs..
Really enjoyed Bob’s talk. He hits on a lot of the common misconceptions that have been floating about the internet via news sites. Hoping that moving forward libressl is as widely adopted and successful as openssh. The internet would benefit from it greatly. I’m also really encouraged to hear that funding has been discussed and authors have been willing to change the license of their work in a way that corresponds with OpenBSD’s project goals.

I find it especially hypocritical since they’ve been very vocal about dropping H.264 support in Chrome.
I guess they’ve never done that, after all? Did anyone even follow up with them?
