It looks like the most economical method of moving lots of power would be to use high voltage dc.

We will start off by covering D/C results first (which are easier to derive) and then move to deriving the results for A/C. I hope to have some animations that clearly show a parabolic current profile gradually start exhibiting the skin effect when we ramp up the frequency.
