Switching from pipenv to poetry is well worth it. Adding, installing or updating dependencies is way faster, and when a conflict arises, it actually tells you which package conflicts with which other package (crazy for a package manager, right ? /s).

I used the non-prerelease version for months, and have been very happy with it. Do watch out when upgrading, as since it uses the system python by default (and no longer pyenv), you’ll get python 2.7 running by default on most systems.

updated yesterday without noticing. Be careful with updating your poetry locks because they might break stuff.
