I think they picked a poor title. The piece isn’t really about what you think it is based on their title.
It’s a comparison of native VS progressive web apps.
I think a big part of the answer is that apps have ads/cross-selling/tracking that is difficult or impossible to block, and that this author missed it.
Ah, I see. But if you can’t get very many people to actually install your app then dos it really matter?
