      Company site: Teraki

      Position(s): Streaming Data Engineer

      Location: Berlin, on site

Description: We do data compression. We do it on cars, drones and we are expanding to other fields. We are bootstrapping a new team to create a streaming system to ingest, decode and analyze the data coming from the devices.

Tech stack: To be established. The company is python oriented but for this system we are open to other options like JVM-languages. Apache Flink or Kafka Streams/Faust (on a Kafka cluster that already exists) are technologies that would fit but we are open to other approaches

I really thought you were going to do a Green Eggs and Ham take in the first line of the description -

Would you like some compressed data?
Would you like it on car?
Would you like it on a drone?
Would you like it streamed to your home?

        1. 15

We sell compression and compression accessories

Does a funded masters degree w/ work-study count as a job? Maybe borderline, but just in case anyone’s interested:

      Company site: American University

Position(s): MS, MA, or MFA student and research assistant

Location: Washington, DC (Onsite, unless COVID-19 work-from-home continues beyond Summer 2020)

Description: I’m looking for a funded masters student interested in systematically studying performance of AI game-playing algorithms, under this NSF grant. The MS Computer Science would be the most natural fit, but for someone with strong existing CS skills wanting to branch out, the MA Game Design or MFA Games & Interactive Media are possibilities. Funding covers four semesters of full tuition plus 15-20 hr/wk work-study.

Tech stack: Mix of Python and Java most likely, using environments like GVGAI, OpenAI Gym, and Ludii.
