My favorite amateur version of game hacking is the Galaga hack to make the bees stop firing. It takes 15-20 minutes of being boring (and ignoring the people in line behind you who are probably getting quite annoyed), but I’ve successfully done it twice. Simply amazing that someone/people took the time to reverse engineer the game to this extent.
Yeah. These arbitrary code executions on console games are always a lot of fun.
