I learned a bunch about the HAR format while putting this together, including the difference between .har (pure JSON, responses are inlined and sometimes stored as base64) and .har.zip (zip file containing both a har.har JSON file and a bunch of resources, they are no longer inlined into the JSON).
I’m excited to explore other interesting things I can do with HAR now that I have an easy way of creating them from the CLI.
If you haven’t seen my shot-scraper tool before I recommend digging around in the documentation, it’s pretty comprehensive: https://shot-scraper.datasette.io/
