I’m glad people are thinking about this stuff, but there was a bit too much attitude here to give me confidence. Encryption isn’t a magic sprinkle like scaling, so saying “everything will be encrypted!” doesn’t cut it. Same goes for most of the rest: vague ideas that almost anyone would agree with, but no specifics. I’d like to see a working demo first, with concrete benefits… then we can all pat each other on the back about how uninspiring ip6 was.
Should they actually produce the spec (apologize for my grumpyness, but that’s what I think) it will meet the fate of Plan 9 – a better unix/internet than the Unix/Internet, but network effect’s a bitch. Though I wish them the best.

Sounds lovely, how many years will we need to wait before something like this happens :(
