        I will try to extend it to the lower half so that we can assign something like /96 to a link, even if that means that half the IPv6 Maintenance (6man) IETF working group will hunt me down.

        That makes me happy. Since ISP assignment of /64 has been normalised and is common these days, the idea that we shouldn’t subnet at home is silly. I hope the option becomes common and well supported.
