I thought the article was cool but was shocked by the author’s implication that his findings were novel or even relatively unknown. It’s surprising that a self-proclaimed security expert has not heard of digital watermarking, or researched prior work. Searching for “digital watermarking zero width” yields many results, and I remember reading about using synonyms in an article from he 90s.
