Speaking of which, I’m trying out TeamViewer for remote tech support of family. It’s no-cost, Windows/OS X/Linux/Chrome, connects through NATs, allows unattended logins, and has file-sharing. This last sounds redundant with email/Dropbox/etc., but I’m going to use it to share photos so that family members have warm fuzzy thoughts when they see TeamViewer, rather than it being just “that confusing thing I see when something else is broken”. I have high hopes.
