Missing one of my favorites: [ ghc-Bugs-766386 ] Error in compile deletes the sourcefile
Wow, that’s fantastic/horrible. I can’t imagine how upset I’d be if I stumbled across this bug while compiling a bunch of uncommitted work and didn’t still have the contents available somewhere else.
The funniest part about that to me is that it is for Haskell.
One supposes that the language encourages immutability by preemptively mutating things outside the compiler’s environment. 8)
It refuses to compromise on type checks. No quarter given!
There’s also Unnwinnable by Mistake (warning: TV Tropes) collecting game bugs.
A classic Gentoo bug: #74072 - ld errors.
