A few iOS games I’ve found fun that aren’t poorly disguised money funnels. Last Fish, Lazors, super hexagon (maybe fun), Tetris (has in app, is still fun without paying), Infinity Field.
I won’t even look at free-with-in-app-purchase games any more unless they’ve got a prominent “We’re going to ask you for $5 at the end of level 3 and that’s it, for ever!” explanation attached. I suspect the pay-to-play bubble will pop soon anyway, but it has made a mess of the app stores in the meantime.
