A talk at the 34C3, one of the largest conferences on technology and society, given by the art collective “center for political beauty” about their recent work, including:
- Exhuming bodies of drowned refugees and trying to bury them on the lawn in front of the German parliament.
- Chartering a plane to fly refugees to Germany, using the slogan “mum, why don’t refugees just take the plane?”
- Organizing a competition for students at Bavarian schools to design a “leaflet against dictatorship”, including a legit-looking PR movie, and officially-looking orders to schools to distribute their “classroom materials”. The grand prize was a flight to a dictatorship of their choice to distribute their leaflet.
- Buying a parcel next to the private home of a right-wing politician and building a replica of the Holocaust Memorial on it.
