I got bored last night and built a single page site in the same vein as Is it Christmas? for checking the current bitcoin exchange rate to USD.

Frontend updates every 30 seconds. A background process polls BTC-e and Bitstamp every 10 seconds and averages them to come up with the exchange rate.

    Cool! I’ve been using preev.com for a while now. Any advantages this has over that?

      If simplicity is an advantage then it has that. Preev has more features like converting to different currencies and from different BTC amounts.
