      As it’s under MIT license now, it might be used to replace winefile from Wine.

      Neat! As mentioned in the README, the author created an original_plus tag if you’re more interested in seeing the historical artifact than the modern enhancements.

      I much prefer Windows 3.x’s Program Manager to anything Microsoft has done lately on Windows. Hell, I prefer it to most modern desktops’ application management.

        This is a very spicy take, considering Program Manager’s unpopularity and the near-universal sigh of relief once Windows 95 came out with Explorer and killed it. What’s so likeable about PROGMAN.EXE?

          I said “lately”, meaning Windows 8/10 etc. 95 was fine. :)

          And I feel like modern desktops are just…trying too hard. I mean, obviously I’m in the minority, but I’m a simple man.
