Does anyone have a reference to the story where Chuck Moore patiently explains that sure, his Forth VLSI toolchain is simple but it’s enough to design a CPU to run Forth on … I read it years ago and don’t seem to be coming up with anything on Google …
Three things I found trying to find that reference are a description of how OKAD is built and a bunch of nice views it offers on hardware. Those are below. The views make me think of it as the Atari of CAD software. So retro-looking haha.
