I didn’t know about it! However the “Any one who considers arithmetical methods of producing random digits is, of course, in a state of sin” quote is too good to pass up, might have to find a way to incorporate it into the next version.
Interesting topic. I’d like to see an article explaining where the Mersenne twister and HAVEGE fit into this.
