The timing of this series of articles with regards to my hobbies is perfect. I’ve been playing around in various composition/live-coding environments (CommonMusic, SonicPi, PureData), and I’ve recently started learning Erlang via Joe’s Programming Erlang book. I loved reading about Erlang’s bit syntax for describing/implementing protocols, and Joe’s osc.erl is a great example.
