    [Unpopular opinion coming.] This is another screed against the Encrypted Media Extensions. I get that they’re unpalatable to people because they allow closed source ‘signed’ media, but in the real world, big studios simply AREN’T going to allow their content to be viewed without something like this, and I’d rather have it be an open standard.

    Sure, we all know it’s crap, and that if it’s on your screen you can capture it, but sometimes you have to throw the pointy hairs a bone if you want to be able to Netflix and chill :)
