I generally view Highscalability.com as a source of knowing what my peers are doing. Sometimes you get a pleasant surprise, but it’s much closer to a newspaper than a journal.

Not trying to be unconstructively negative, but that’s been the case for highscalability for some time now has it not?

Are there recent articles which went into any depth or offered any valuable insight that you can think of?

No particulars off hand. Sometimes a cool fact shows up, like how much memory is required just to store X 64 bit integers, but I stopped paying the site attention a while ago. It seems the basics of scaling are pretty well known, which isn’t conducive to a blog format site.
