There are a lot of exciting initiatives on there, from AppJails to desktop improvements.
I look longingly at FreeBSD since I found hacking the kernel to be much easier and in general the tooling is much simpler. Honestly locking down a systemd service is doable but really not trivial, Ive struggled a lot with opaque errors which makes Freebsd more lucrative. At the same time I’m a bit spoiled by Nixos and the declarative config management it has.
