I’m going to evaluate StackOverflow for business (i.e. private SO) to see if it’s a better way of transmitting our institutional knowledge that currently is scattered around Confluence and people’s minds. Does anyone have any experience with SO for teams, the earlier incarceration of it?

One thing I would want to point out here is that the paper looks at time spent while in development phases (requirements, coding, testing) and explicitly does not look at post-deployment. I’d imagine this might make a significant difference on how you interpret the statement, depending on whether you do monthly releases or you roll it out as soon as a small feature is done.
