This is amazing! But how is the text and its formulas stored? If the formulas are stored in text, then you can just edit the text file anywhere (even org-mode!).
The prototype is a “web app” but unusually it stores data locally using the filesystem access API. It stores plain .txt files alongside “metadata” JSON files that contain the formulas, so you can edit the plaintext files in any editor. (We thought about actually putting the formulas directly into the .txt files too, but decided was better to keep the .txt file free of any extra overlay content)

Thanks for clarifying. Hoping this will turn into a long term project! Even then, I’d hope for consideration for interop between text editors.
