I’m not sure why he claims on page 20 that Arch Linux has switched to LibreSSL; that’s simply not true. OpenSSL remains in the base installation, and unless I’m mistaken, the only way to use LibreSSL working on Arch is to rebuild every package that depends on OpenSSL from source.
