    BGP/or any internet protocol is open source. So instead of blaming it on others - you step up and fix it with actions. It does take a while for a draft to go to specification(RFC) to implementation but with software eating over networking, I am foreseeing this time to get shorter by the day.

    We do hear however, max-prefix, RPKI etc as a solution - but quite honestly, the solution with a software defined Internet should be inherent within the protocol rather than relying on a human configuration.
