I think this could go either way. It would be nice if they had some kind of cursory knowledge of the jobs they were recruiting for, however, I feel like a better improvement would be to abandon the “spray and pray” technique that I’ve seen so many recruiters employ currently.
Agree. I also think it’s important how they talk to developers. I was once asked how many years of AJAX experience I had, that really showed the recruiter didn’t have a clue of what they were talking about.
Someone should take all those example functions and make a library out of them.
