Meeting up with some old ex-colleagues who are visiting from abroad, watching the tennis (not so fussed on the football haha), noodling around making my first game, and hopefully get time to watch the last lecture of the fast.ai 2018 part 1 course.

I thought the Elements of User Experience was a good high level framework for thinking about UX (http://www.jjg.net/elements/pdf/elements.pdf as an overview, but it’s also a really short read) and more concretely, Google’s Material Design as a collection of components with good UX. Just stumbled a Coursera case study on it that looks interesting: https://www.coursera.org/lecture/prototyping-design/case-example-googles-material-design-iwUYF (but I haven’t gone through it myself)
