i’m xero. ive been running a blog since the 90s. topics are all over the place and range from html, css, javascript, perl, regex, sql, flash, shell scripting, linux/unix, ascii/ansi/text art, graffiti, music, or whatever else i feel like writing about at that moment in time.

i have wanted one for years, but i just don’t feel very comfortable soldering all those switches. i use the kinesis freestyle, and it’s great for around $80.

very cool. i just started using JSON.awk, this is a nice alternative.

$work: porting everything to docker containers and redeploying all our sites. it’s been fun doing devops as opposed to coding for a change.

i created a new vim status line and color scheme, updated my tmux tab line to match, and ported the new color scheme to my shell. i call it “sourcerer”

we had a group account for code school at my last job. i liked the “test” style for each level of the series. but i could have done without the musical intros for each course.

i also liked the ansi style that https://gentoo.org did for today, complete with loading animations.
