I don’t have specific playlists as that would take time to compile. I prefer music without vocals to work to.
If it is fast paced and motivating that helps, this often means I end up listening to psytrance radio stations. My wife likes the Soma FM radio stations such as suburbs of goa.
I’ve been using ack for at least 3 years now and it is now one of the group of tools I install on new machines I’ll be doing any development on. When it is not present I notice it’s absence.
I’ve spent most of the last two or three days trying to get at private keys on a production-esque nginx / Ubuntu set up, and Rob’s article mirrors my own findings. I distinctly get the impression that it’s actually most correct, and that cases like FreeBSD/Apache are rare.
The problem with Bing’s April Fools news stories is that they are put in with real news stories on the main page. Granted, these fake news stories don’t seem to appear on Bing News’s main page (news.bing.com), but I would prefer if their trending news stories were all fake rather than leaving the reader to guess. It’s completely obvious once you click on one, but that’s just my personal preference.

I’ve down-voted this as poorly titled as the blog post title now ends in “[Retracted]”.
I do believe this to be mostly incorrect. The Twitterverse has already shown it possible on FreeBSD/Apache, for instance.

He’s updated his article to say he was completely wrong.
